Coach Brock Houser
Co-Owner & Head Trainer
Brock grew up playing for the Southern Tier Admirals AAA Hockey Organization. He has played for Welland Jr. B, Sudbury Jr. A where he won his Championship title. He has instructed at various hockey schools and opened HyperX Hockey in 2024. Brock loves inspiring athletes to push their limits and reach their full potential. He has an immense love for for teaching hockey and looks forward to seeing many of you on the ice in the near future.
Coach Andrew Vermeulen
Co-Owner & Head Trainer
Andrew grew up playing for the Southern Tier Admirals and Niagara North Stars AAA Hockey organizations. Andrew was drafted in the 4th round, 71st overall to the Niagara Icedogs. Andrew then played for the OHL Kitchener Rangers where he won the Memorial Cup in 2026. He has various coaching experience from hockey camps and schools across the region, and look forward to helping kids develop new skills and take their game to the next level.
Coach Daylon Groulx
Treadmill Head Trainer
Daylon grew up playing hockey for the Southern Tier Admirals AAA. He was drafted to the OHL by Owen Sound Attack. Daylon went on to play for Ottawa 67's, UPEI Panthers and Brock University. Daylon played Pro Hockey in Austria for a year. Daylon had the opportunity to coach and train many young hockey players, both on and off the ice, around the Niagara area. He is really looking forward to help develop young hockey players from my hometown to become the best they can be here at Hyper X.
Coach Jeff Zatorski
On Ice Trainer
Jeff grew up in Welland and played for Welland Tigers AAA. Jeff has played in four leagues over his career - Fort Erie & Port Colborne Jr. B (won defenceman award twice), Mississauga Chargers OPJHL Tier 2 Jr. A, Potsdam Bear NCAA, Louisiana Ice Gators, Pensacola Ice Flyers, Welland Whalers Sr.A. Coach Jeff has worked many years as a skills coach and has developed many players. Coach Jeff looks forward to continue providing great training.
